The November/December/January magazine was mailed out from the printer’s distribution facility at the end of last week (November 3, 2006). Expect delivery of your magazine within the next ten to fourteen days. International accounts should expect delivery within the next two to four weeks.

As you may recall, we asked you to submit photographs of your truck for use in our 2007 TDR Calendar. My thanks to the TDR members that submitted over 250 photographs of their trucks. We collected the pictures, organized them, discussed them, argued over them, and then finally voted for those that would work best in the calendar. We could announce the winners here, but it is more fun to create some suspense by letting you peruse the calendar yourself. This project was so much fun that we plan to make it an annual event. Watch for your calendar in the cover wrap of your Issue 54.

What else is in Issue 54?

Doug Leno takes a look at the new ULSD fuel and John Martin discusses the new diesel lube oil specification, CJ-4. Our annual collection and summary of technical service bulletins is included, as well. There are discussions about fuel heaters, fuel pressure, exhaust brakes, valve adjustments and transmission temperatures throughout the various columns in the magazine. Turbochargers, camshafts, and performance modules are evaluated. And, we even have Kevin Cameron talking about carpet fluff.
