TDR Buyer's Guide
A WORD ABOUT THIS BUYER’S GUIDE

Recently my wife and I spent much time looking for a “new” used car. I fired up my computer, studied comments and users’ experiences in forum-based websites, and downloaded archived articles from Car and Driver, Road and Track,  and Edmunds.com. There was a lot of miscellaneous and helpful information free for the taking. I figure this sort of web search is pretty typical for prospective vehicle purchasers today. As it turned out, we didn’t make a purchase, but my experience in searching for a suitable used car made me more aware of issues of value and economy in owning a Turbo Diesel today.

As a writer it is tempting to tell the long story of “information being worth the price that you paid for it.” I will refrain. Many thought-provoking articles on the state of the publishing business versus the free-for-all nature of the interweb (pun intended) have been written, and my opinion is not likely to change anyone’s point of view.

Back to the subject at hand—you are a prospective new owner. You want more information. You want it now. You want it at no charge.

Since the late ‘90s we have compiled information on the Dodge/Cummins Turbo Diesel truck. Each year we update that information. We call the data the Turbo Diesel Buyers Guide, and you can download this evergreen book using this link – Click here to download the TDR Buyers Guide.

The price of this book has been discussed many times over. It is offered to you at no charge. Our hope is that its value will lead you to purchase a subscription to the Turbo Diesel Register magazine.

We feel that the value of a TDR subscription (and this Buyer’s Guide) will be paid back many times over.  You will have the knowledge of what is wrong, how to make the repair, and the camaraderie of a membership group that you can count on to help when needed.

Thanks, in advance, for your consideration.  Happy motoring in your “new” used Turbo Diesel truck.

I am new to the Dodge brand, I've been a Ford guy as my dad was. I'm a civilian contractor in Iraq right now and I bought my Dodge from my brother-in-law because of the deal I got. A 01 QC 4x4 Turbo Diesel 2500 with less than 55,000 miles for 13,000 so I became a Dodge man. I've found out how bad the front end steering is on Dodges when I was home on leave and drove it. I've found out a lot of good info and sites to buy parts from the Dodge forums here at TDR. I'm thankful for this site.
