Spring is here, and Issue 52 is being mailed out from the printer's facility in South Carolina next week (April 24 - 28). We expect that all copies will be delivered by May 15, 2006. (International issues will take a bit more time for delivery.)
The theme for Issue 52 was prompted by two articles on tools that had been submitted some time ago. Putting writer Anderson's article on tool basics together with Nelson's article on specialty tools, we asked our writers to talk about their favorite tools and how their list of favorites have changed since the Fall of 2001 when we last addressed tools. So, Issue 52 is full of "tool talk."
There is lots of other talk too. Issue 52 is 176 pages, second only in page count to our Issues 42, 47 and 48, 180 page magazines.
Highlights in Issue 52:
- Dodge's Cab Chassis introduction which features the first look at the 2007 Cummins 6.7 liter engine
- A look at common Turbo Diesel myths by our own myth-buster, Greg Whale
- Yet another look at bio-diesel
- More 24-valve lift pump advice
- A briefing on ultra low sulfur diesel fuel
- "Diesels for Damsels"
- Fuel economy update for Third Generation owners
- Turbocharger developments
We hope you will enjoy Issue 52. And as always, thank you for your support of the Turbo Diesel Register!
