Upstate Bombers First Annual Dyno Day and Sled Pull a Success!
By Robin Patton | Published  06/8/2009 | TDR - Chapter Events | Unrated
Congratulations to the Upstate Bombers on their first annual dyno day and sled pull.  They filed this report:

The first annual Upstate Bombers Dyno Day and Sled Pull had a great turnout. Brand X Performance from New Hampshire brought their Dynojet 248 and ran 14 trucks. The high horsepower award went to James Kauffman from Bainbridge, NY with his '04 Dodge 2500 at 531 hp and 1015 tq.  Second place went to Chad Taylor from Willet, NY with his '02 Dodge 2500 at 475 hp and 876 tq.   The Sled Pull was put on in conjunction with the Cincinnatus Fire Department. After the usual extended wait while the gassers pulled (which was good for some carnage and a headache), the diesels pulled. The Chevys semed to rule the day, but the most impressive pull was by fellow TDR member - Michael Garofalo (also known on the TDR Website as Highfinance97) with his '97 Dodge. His TDR Grill Badge was unmistakeable coming down the track.   Diesel Street 8500 class was won by Gary Aniska from Scranton, PA with an '07 Chevy; second place was captured by Travis Pushlar from Cazenovia,  NY with an '01 Dodge.  Diesel OpenStreet 9000 was won by Michael Garofalo of Clarks Summit, PA with a '97 Dodge; second place was captured by Travis Pushlar again with his Dodge.

A great time was had by all, and the diesel trucks put on a great show at the pulls. We hope to see you at the next function of the Upstate Bombers!
