Turbo Diesel Register - TcDR - Travel Companion Distinguished Recognition
In the Fall of 2002, we published our first TDR Travel Companion with a listing of 247 anonymous TDR members offering to provide assistance to other TDR members having truck problems while on the road. As a way to recognize those who have provided assistance, we initiated a TcDR column in the magazine and acknowledge those helpful TDR members.

In Issue 42, we unveiled the TcDR grille badge that is shipped to those providing assistance.  We are honored to send the TcDR grille badge to TDR Members who support other TDR members-in-need.

This type of support is part of what makes the TDR the best Dodge/Cummins Turbo Diesel enthusiast group today.

We will have an online form added soon to make the recognition process simple.  In the meantime, send any incidents of TcDR to us via mail or email:

By Mail:

» Thank You, Arlen! (April, 2008)
By Robin Patton | Published 04/4/2008 | TDR - Distinguished Recognition | Unrated
Mr. Robert Patton, my name is John D. I have a friend who is a TDR Member. I was out in Colarado when my 2000 Dodge 5.9 overheated in the mountains. I called my friend who looked up a local TDR Member in your travele companion, and he gave me a telephone number to call for help. I called the number, and a man named Arlen helped me get to his house.  We worked in his heated garage (0 degrees outside) to fix the problem of a plugged radiator.  I was on my way to California by noon the next day.

I just wanted to say Arlen and his wife were just terrific.  They helped a stranger with their kind generosity and by getting me back on the road.  My thanks to them and your magazine for having such wonderful people who are willing to help a person in distress.

THANK YOU Arlen!

From the staff of the TDR, thank you Arlen.  Your TDR TcDR grill badge is on its way to you along with our sincere appreciation.
