Started seeing an 03 6.0 CC 250 in the parking lot at work a couple days. Didn't know who it belonged to until today. Turns out to be a guy I have helped with events here at the museum. He is from the audio/visual company and rigs stuff for the events.
Saw him pull in while I was talking to the museum director and after the director went inside I asked him (Ron) how he likes his 6 liter. Said, "Oh, I LOVE IT!" Asked him if he had anything wrong with it, he said no, just bought it, USED, with 5000 miles on it, cause the previous owner didn't make payments.
Then he says, "I just did a 4" exhaust and AFE intake....best $1000 I ever spent!"
Holy crap, $1000? Guess that's what he gets!
I was just ITCHING to tell him about the fan belt replacement, or how much fuel is in his oil, or if he has even popped the hood on the thing yet.
But I kept my mouth shut. Why ruin a guy's day by telling him that? I will let him figure it out for himself
