Hey guys i thing that the tranny in my truck died yesterday.
it seemed to slip in first when i went to leave work then the check engine light came on. now it doesn't seem to shift to first gear at all. if i put it in reverse then back in drive sometime it will go into gear but still doesn't want to move well. is there any way i can check the codes in the comuter without a scanner?
what would be the best way to fix the truck cheap considering that i am trying to sell it? i was thinking a new set of clutches and seals (stock) with a slightly better than stock converter (lower stall speed). the truck has a JRE #4 cam plate and a k&n intake that will be coming off after the tranny is done. (yea i know why the tranny blew
