No 1st gear (auto) Help!!

Been a while sense last post...All is going good until here lately.
My tranny does not shift into 1st unless it has been sitting overnight..And then only the first stop or two..I can not even manually select first it just keeps starting out in 2nd every time...
Give me some ideas guys
I forgot to mention that I do have a trans-go shift kit(wo-ho)(not happy)I am not running a res. in line either it has done fine without it for over6mths+.
So any ideas...
