Talking 14 seconds, what does it take.

All I am thinking about is breaking into the 14 second range. It is going to be my goal in life. High 14's would make me happy.

Problems:

1) 7200 lbs (can't do a whole lot about it)
2) 285's for tires and 3.55 rear diff. (Can install 245's on race day only if necessary)
3) Only a #6 TST.

Will the classic combination that alot of people around here do it? The classic seems to be:

1) 370 diamond B injectors
2) 16cm turbo housing, possibly HX40???
3) 4 inch exhaust
4) Piers governor spring kit
5) AFC spring kit
6) BIG TST plate.
7) Different air induction system, Physcotty or equivalent.
8) A little tinkering with timing....
9) Transmissin upgrades, currently running BD valve body and 215L torque converter.
10) Trip to BD for a tune up!
11) Whatever else I am missing

Last but not least, driving techniques. What or how do you guys launch when turning your 14 second et's? Please don't tell me I will have to settle for 16's!

Lets here it, what have you done to get into the 14's!

See sig for more info...
