Oil availability anger.....

Well, I recently had switched from the Rotella T to the Valvoline Premium Blue to see how it performed as well as held up to breakdown and soot build-up. Now I am having some serious oil availability issues. I couldn't find any Valvoline PB anywhere down here in the Santa Clarita Valley. Checked all the local Kragens, where I got it before and they were all out. We had to go upstate to Fresno for the day Saturday, so I let the oil change go a little longer for the 3 hour roadtrip(since I didn't have any oil to change it with) and actually found some PB at a Kragens in Clovis.
Well, the whole time I am looking for PB, every Kragens has the Delo 400 as well as the Rotella. So, now I have been regretting changing to the Valvoline due to it's availablity. The Valvoline performs fine and takes the soot build-up very well, but I just don't want to get stuck again cuz the local store ran out of the brand of oil I was using.
So, my questions are, is the Valvoline PB more popular than the Delo 400 or the Rotella? Is that why when the store gets some in, it is gone the next day?
Also, since the Delo 400 and Rotella are more available at more stores, would it hurt anything to go back to the Rotella or try the Delo 400? Just curious what some of youz guyz opinions are on switching my oil back or to another different oil, such as the Delo. I was going to try the Delo 400 cuz it was all that some stores had and I haden't experimented with it yet, but I found 7 gallons left of PB at the Clovis Kragens and that will last me a while till I my local store recieves more.
Sorry for the long post, but i had to explain myself a bit.
Thanks, Joe
