Plate question from a newbie
I am new posting, but I am not new to TDR. I've been reading the posts on the site for a looooong time. I finally decided to ask the experts their opinion on my setup. I have a 1998 12V 5-speed. I am thinking of going with a #10 plate, 3kgsk, scotty II, and Piers 4". Right now I have the stock plate foward about .020, the sil ring removed, boost/egt guages, and a walker race magnum muffler. My question is, will a #10 be too much fuel to tow with? I usually tow once a week, around 8-10K or so. I know I need a clutch, I think Im going with a mitchell. Right now my EGT guage is post turbo, I am making 30+ psi, and My egt only gets to about 875 in fifth WOT on a hill. I dont want to baby it if I bomb it.
thanks again.
