Tranny Temp Problem ?

Had to replace my tranny lines to the cooler last week. Doing so, I relocated the Jannetty manifold to an easier location to get at. After reinstalling everything, the gauge will not read more then about 120° at the max., even towing. I installed a new probe, same thing. I cut and replaced the end of the wire, same thing. I am starting to think that either the gauge is messed up or the wire lead is bad.
Anyone have any ideas??
