Turbocharger Crazy

I wanted to ask you guys if you have any good resources on turbochargers.
Specifically I want to know what what housing combinations produce which results.

I caught sight of a twin setup and have been awestruck with the idea of a setup to help low rpm lag. I have lots of time to read up on everything I can find between now and when my truck is paid for; so don't worry about me getting a wild hair and killing my engine any time soon.
