bad gas mil, high egt

i have 96 2500 4x4 191000mi. seemed to have lost 200mi per tank of fuel and egt run about 700@70mph not sure but think kinda high not sure were to start or if egt norm. feels kinda like driving against the wind .any help would be appreciated greatly
