Well finally did the lift pump.....sort of

Over the last few days I've been changing out my lift pump.
fuel press sux @ idle, fine otherwise ?????
It took a bit longer than I expected, but I'm in no rush and I want it to be done right the first time.
I'm all done except one item.
The steel fuel line that goes from the LP to the secondary filter head is now the wrong bend, due to the LP being slightly different (new updated part # ) so this left me to BOMB the fuel line.
Can anyone tell me if a new part # has been issued for the line, as it now does not fit?
I cut it, and ran some 30JR7 (whatever) spec hose but it leaks like a sieve, even after remounting it and retightening it several times, removing the black paint, etc. There aint much straight line there to get a good run to clamp to.
I'd just as soon replace it with copper if it wasnt for the dam banjo bolt.
Someone please shed some light on this for me.
Thanks.
Eric
