Tranny "clunk"

Recently, my AT has made a noise when the BD Torqueloc allows the TC to unlock, slowing while coming to a stop for example. It doesn't seem to be shudder, although that was my first thought. I'm concerned that it may suggest something major. 90K miles, much towing a 12K RV. No discernable slip, especially when the torqueloc is switched on. Trans temp (sender in pan) rarely shows any increase beyond normal level. Any ideas?
Anyone know of a honest transmission shop in the Manteca/Stockton/Modesto CA area?
