Replace fuel lines on 98?
I found a couple of threads that discussed something I'm curious about. 98 model 12V trucks use a pair of semi-rigid lines from the steel lines on the frame to the steel supply/return lines at the engine. Has anyone replaced these with LarryB's (or other high quality) fuel hose. I know the 7.3L PSD had a short section of this type of line on the supply side and it was highly recommended that it be swapped out for flexible line. Reason being, the o-rings in the quick disconnects deteriorated and let air into the system. I have LarryB's fuel hose on the way and I'm planning to get rid of the semi-rigid stuff and the QDs. Any reason I shouldn't?
