Water/Meth on my 12V Chev

I know there is the same info around just wanted to let evey on know how I did it and how it works for me.

I use Meth injection on all my cars so I thought I would throw a quick kit on the Chev to help the EGT's.

I am very happy with my results using about 40%meth. I am injecting about 1500cc worth. With the 16cm housing on my small HX40 (58mm) I was toping out at 38-39psi with pulled WG line and the rod is cranked so tight it would only open maybe 1/4in so I really don't even need the WG yet. With the fist pull I got a 3psi boost increase (41-42psi) and droped the EGT's buy 150-200deg in OD. I now even slid the plate almost all the way forward now and am toping out at 1350deg in OD was over 1500deg. Went out for another pull with my buddys moded 97. Before I would pull about 1/4 truck to 90MPH I now pull over 2 trucks from 40-90mph. So it made a huge difference. I hope to get the Chev on the dyno next week to see what the wimp 160pump will do.

How I did my kit.

-$11 7gal water tank from Bimart that I installed a 1/2in bulk head into.
-$100 for 100 psi sure flow pump with screen filter that I run caped off so it is up around 250psi but that will normaly start to die off down to 140psi over time. ( pump's not ment to be ran that high)
-$ 25 hobbs switch that I have set at 30psi and it was only a 10psi switch to start so thay adj plunty high enough.
-$ 50 Autometer 200psi gauge I instll this so I know for sure it is working.
-$ 60 cust 200psi solnoid that I order from GC valves. This makes sure I can never get a sifen effect and I have 4in form the jet so when the system turns on the injection is right there.
-$ 60 in hose, brass fitings, and misc parts.

On my kits with Meth I use all Areoquip push lock hose 1/2in to pump and 1/4in to sloanoid and jet. Even %30 meth in water I can get to catch fire so no way would I want to burn my truck down from some plastic line melting and catching fire. So this cost me about $40 extra to use the Areoquip stuff.

So it looks like it cost me around $306 to do my kit.

All of these Sureflow pumps everyone uses will siphen through the pump when it is off. So if you get your tank higer than the jet it will start to flow. I have had it happen not cool when you get a few gallons in the motor. Happend a few years ago to a different motor. I was able to pull the plugs and pump it out did not seem to hurt any thing.
