215HP 96,97 vs 215hp 98

I know this must of been asked before but modding wise, are there any differences between the 96,97 215 pumps vs the 98 215 pump?

I found a very beautiful 96 with a nice tan interior, 4wd stick, ext cab etc.. its selling for 7K 145K miles
but I do plan on modding at some point as well

also with the exception of the shortbed and interiors are there differences between 96,97 and 98 say like brakes wise or anything suspension related etc?
