Best turbo for the jod.

Ok, just got looking in Archives with no clean concise answer. I am wondering what turbo is the best for me. I use my truck as an everyday driver, mostly empty, and when I tow it ranges from 2000-17000 pounds on the farm. I am NOT looking for severe horsepower. My goal is 300hp/650tq or there about. I drive like a grandma alot, but when I want and need the power, I used it to the max. I am needing to replace my stock turbo and was wondering what would be the best single turbo for my setup. I plan to put a little larger injectors soon, but the turbo comes first. oh, I do alot of cruising at 55-60 and 70-75. avrg about 18mpg. Any help there would be nice.
