Need help with what to do

Ok I am debating on either taking my truck to Garmon's Diesel or just doing the work my self. Talked to Jeff a couple of weeks ago and he said for my 500hp that i want he could do it for me for around $5500.00 and that includes getting a Suncoast tranny and torque converter built by him. He said i all ready have everything that i need to make the power except for the turbo. He also said it would take about a week to do it.

If i do the work my self the truck wont be down for a week and i would probably use a Goerand Bros. tranny. But i really don't know what turbo to go with and what all i need to do to adjust everything so that I can get the 500 plus HP that i want in my daily driver.

Any suggestions on what to do will be appreciated.
