18 deg too much?

Will 18 degrees advance be too much for my 12V?

Stock pump, stock injectors. Dis-abled waste gate. Federal Air Horn. Complete DTT Billet trans. 3.54 Gears. This truck is now a TOY. The most it will tow on a semi-regular basis is an 18' Aluminum boat w/115 HP Mercury OB/Jet.

Right now it's at 16.5. I want a little more pop!
