Jacobs 24v on a 12v

Looked for some threads on this, but didn't find anything. Will a 24v Jacobs brake work on our trucks? Figured with hx35's it would bolt up, but with ECM hookup on a 24v and all I didn't know if I could get it to work. I found one that comes with everything except for a shifter switch that I will want. Also, just to make sure, these brakes will work on any size (12,14,16) holset exhaust housing right?
