Top Turbo

Ok, so I understand the concept of twins and the fact that with lets say a s400, an sufficient top turbo would be like a ps62, and that for lets say a Big Brother, you would need a larger one like a ps66. But what would be the advantage of running a silver 62 over an s400? I imagine spool up? - thanks, Buck
