The long road to Dragon Flows

Well folks, This will be my first thread that I have started, so bear with me, I wanted to tell everyone my disaster story with UPS loosing my 1k$ injectors, and NOT paying out. It was the middle of august, and I decided to purchase a set of injectors from ebay. The seller looked very reputable with over 1500 positive feedbacks, so I figured I would be good. The seller Geoff from ETR diesel took my offer on a set of JL 5 x .018 EDM injectors, and I put a money order in the mail the next day. I waited about two weeks and did not receive any notification of $$$ received or a tracking # so I called ETR to find out what had happened. Geoff told me that he was waiting on industrial injection to make the injectors, and that he had "upgraded" me to a better injector than the JL. I was excited at this point because I had actually wanted a set of dragon flow injectors from day one, but they were out of my price range. Another week went by and I called to get a tracking # or something, and was told that the injectors had been delivered to my house a few days prior @ 10:30 in the morning. I felt my stomach tighten up because NOTHING had been delivered? I called UPS, filed a police report and waited for the next step.....About three weeks went by ( well over a month now since I ordered), so I called UPS AGAIN, they told me that the shipper had to file the claim. NOT knowing who the actual shipper was made this extremely difficult. It took a 3.5hr phone call to UPS to get this straight, but I did so patiently because I was not about to loose the hundreds of $$$ I had forked out. Another month went by, and I did not receive ANY calls from ANYBODY, I called ETR several times but was always given the message that Geoff would call me back but never did. I finally convinced a person at ups to disclose some information to me (which they are not allowed to do unless you are the original shipper) that a claim had been paid out. I felt a sigh of relief because I thought I was going to finally get some parts ( this is about three months in since original order) After about three and a half weeks of waiting since I got the UPS info, I called ETR. Geoff told me that he would contact industrial injection on a follow up. two more weeks went by NO one called me. By this point I was extremely upset. I really felt like no one gave a S#!t about my order being lost. I sent geoff an email (because by this point it was practically impossible to reach him by phone) saying that I was going to seek legal advice at this point if the issue was not resolved. ( after all SOMEONE had a refund from UPS???) At this point Geoff contacted me almost imidiatly by phone and told me that it was going to be resolved. The next phone call I received was from Brady @ industrial injection. He explained to me that the package was shipped without insurance, and that UPS had only refunded him $100.00 for the loss. It was also on file that I had received the box AND signed for it, but mysteriously the signature could not be read? Brady told me that he has had a few packages vanish from UPS trucks in the past year or so ( possibly because more and more people are aware of the name industrial injection, and the value of these parts). He was extremely nice to work with, and he even sent me Dragon flows as a replacement free of charge. From now on I am only going to deal with industrial injection. Brady seems to really know his stuff, and was not cocky, or secretive about his products, and even when into detail about the machining process that is unique to his injectors. I have dealt with other diesel shops that will not tell you what they are doing, they will only tell you what to expect. Brady is definatly a person who stands behind his products, to send out a set of 1K$ injectors out of pocket to make his costumer happy, and to uphold his good name. AS for Geoff at ETR, he strikes me as an honest person who is helpful with his products. I would do business with him again as well, He could have just kept my $$$ and Wrote it off, but he did deal with the 4 months of UPS nonsense with me, and no one can touch his prices. And for my final thought: Anyone out there with a considerably hoped up 12v, dragon flows are the ONLY way to go. My truck is a 97 auto tranny with a roughly 500cc pump with a 4K govoner, and a custom set of twins. I was running 370's. After the injector upgrade my truck literally picked up 200hp (on the butt dyno Hope to have real #'s soon). Plus these things are amazing to drive. They drive like stock injectors, not too smokey, just tons of HP!!! In my opinion they run smoother than the 370's I was running in the past.
