New Truck Mystery #2 - boost elbow?

Along with the injector mystery, I have a boost mystery. I found the boost elbow which came with the TST #11 kit. This explained why I can peg the needle on a 35 psi boost gauge on a good hill. After asking some other Cummins owners, 20-22 psi is factory. I realize the boost elbow will increase the boost by blocking the wastegate form openning too early. However, from most of my reading, 30-32 psi is probably as far as it is worth going on the stock turbo which I think is still on this truck.

Anybody know what the boost elbow on a #11 kit should should elevate the boost to without being tampered with? If I want to turn it back, anyone have experience playing with the Allen head adjustment?

Thanks,
Dave
