Normal boost & timing?
At 65 mph (no load) in OD,(approx 1800 rpm) boost is 4-5#. I have seen 25# at 2800 rpm under load. Is there a connection with the throttle position sensor cable and boost? It is apparently in the factory position, but there was a recall on my truck several years ago to change the throttle cable or link itself, so I don't know if they messed with it. It has a lot of slack where it connects to the linkage on the side of the pump (with the engine shut off).
Also, what is stock pump timing? I'm thinking about going to 15.5-16* and wondered what Cummins set it on.
Thanks, Tom
