Moly lube/ ARP studs
Can I use a lube like Federal Mogul Sealed Power assembly lube on my ARP studs just to get it back together this weekend, and then retorque w/ ARP next week? I have to put in new pushrods and the studs run through the rocker towers so some of them have to come out (six of them). I can't get ARP moly lube overnighted b/c it can only ship ground for safety reasons. So my plan is:
-torque w/ SP assembly lube to 122 (currently torqued to 122 w/ ARP moly)
-loosen, remove, clean, and retorque w/ ARP moly to 122 early nxt week.
Again, it's only the center studs that run through the rocker towers.
Nobody local carries any moly lube.
