rear gear swap?

has anybody tried to put gears out of a dana 80 into a dana 70?

a friend of mine has some 3.54's in a 94 dana 80 dodge that we would like to put into another friends 99 auto dodge that has 4.10's can this be done or are the gear sets just to different?
