I installed the Cummins valvelcover/breathers last weekend. All I can say is money well spent. I have done a bunch of high boost runs on the highway and when I get home and park the truck I have ZERO oil leaks in the morning.
My brand new driveway is also happy too.

Did you previously have any leaks after running hard?

this may be a dumb question but i installed the case covers and wondered if i need to block the original blow by tube or just leave it alone still notice a little oil coming out of the stock blow by tube with the covers installed.

Leave it there, let it breathe!!!
Maybe your factory breather has a lot of oil in it and its still coming out abit.
the only way to clean it or replace it is to take off the Injection pump and take off the tappet cover

you could replace the cover with a 24V tappett cover to stop the oil drips, but unless your tearing into the engine and got stuff apart for other reasons I dont think its worth the effort.

my leaking oil i mentioned in post #82 has stopped. i believe highfinance was right. it was just residue left over in the tube that came out for about 2 months after the install of new covers. thanks and i highly recommend these covers.

Hmmmm
Maybe that would cure some of my leakage syndromes. I've been addressing this issue on my Harley lately, I'll have to put a little study in to it for the pickup.

I'm pleased with mine also. Gonna take some engineering to get them to fit the Harley though!!!
