Valve Ajustment

I did an adjustment and when I torqed the nut on the valve adjustment screw
I torqed the nut to 28 ft-lbs instead of 18 ft-lbs, engine seams to run good. Do's anyone for see a problem? Should I retorqe the nuts? Thanks in advance. Happy Holidays.
