Check your batteries...

Heres the subject..does anyone have OPTIMA red top batteries. if so this sounds great because there CCA is 1000, "cold cranking amps" im wondering if anyone has them and can tell a difference in them. my problem is, is that since i replaced them with redtops i also did pump modifications like had the pin turned once. so you have to crack the throttle to start it. i figured with these batteries it would start faster??? y does it not start as fast now? someone give me the perfect starting method.
