Horton Instal Question?

I have a question for you Horton users. The instructions say to run the "U" shaped bracket and the Wiring Harnes between the radiator and the shroud. Does this work out ok, (both asthetically and functionally) or should the top of the shroud be notched just a bit to allow easier passage?

Also, if anyone has any pointers to ease installation, please give a hollar. It seems pretty basic, but who knows ........
