Radiator questions

For those of you who have Bombed their engines have you had any rad problems? Cooling , leaking etc? I want to use a 2nd gen rad in my crew cab and was wondering if a new stock one from Dodge would be sufficient? The factory replacement fits 94-02. I really don't like plastic tanks. The one in my 97 parts truck is leaking there already so I need to do something. Of course a custom one will be twice the price of a Dodge one. Your thoughts and comments please. Shadrach

1) 1984 D350 Crew Cab 360 V8 auto
2) 1992 Club Cab D250 auto-no engine (was CTD)
3) 1997 2500 std cab CTD 5 spd
step 4 - take eng from #3, wiring, dash etc... from #2 and install into #1 - tweak, modify - add $$$$$
