Bummer Broke my tranny

Headed out for a fun weekend of camping on Wednesday at Little Boulder Creek in Idaho. Was headed down the road when speed limit changed to lower speed. Kicked it out of cruise, then when slowed started to press on throttle peddle all ready on the floor. Hit cruise again back up to speed. Tapped brake to take out of cruise again and thought I would repeat this to nurse along until I could find a place to stop. Put back in cruis engine accelerated truck did not .

$600 tow later, lots of friends to the rescue, transmission shop.. Broken Billet shaft between Torque converter and trans mission. More metal in pan than needed.

Estimate $4,500 to be back on road.

Life sometimes sucks
