Thumbs up Another South Bend Story

I have had a clutch problem for some time. I have a 96 with a 5 speed. I tow a 34' 5th wheel. It chattered, and wheel hopped while backing up. Around 1800-2200 RPMs it made some weird sounds from the trans/clutch. You might guess, it was a McCloud clutch. After lots of research I called SBC and they said to try the MU0090 CON-0. So I figured it was worth a shot. I couldn't believe how soft the pedal is. It felt like there was nothing there but it released immediately from the floor and went into the gears real smooth. It's a great improvement but the real test will be towing the trailer and backing it up. I will keep everybody posted.
