So Cal Trans and Engine Upgrade

I have a 97 with Auto trans that I want to upgrade. I have purchased the TST #6 plate and am considering a DTT torque converter and valve body. I think I can handle the TST installation by need a good shop in the Southern California area to do the Transmission work. The closer to Barstow (middle of the Mojave desert) the better, but I can and will travel anywhere in southern California to get the right shop. Would also be interested in a shop to install the TST plate and it would be great if I could find a shop that could do both engine and transmission! I will be towing a 5th wheel that will gross out at about 14,000 lbs. Am I on the right track with these mods? My truck just turned 51K miles and runs great, but need more power. I appreciate any and all assistance. Thanks, Rick
