Engine shut-off,NO REASON

Tonight as i was coming off the offramp,the truck died for no apparent reason.Gauges read everything was cool,it wouldn't start up again unless i revved it.Came up to light ...had to hold down throttle to keep her running,but only lasted a minute...then ran fine.....??
