oil leak

i have a 1995 3500 4x4 that is leaking oil between the vacum pump and power steering pump and was woundering if i can just pull of the power steering pump and replace a seal in vacum pump or do i have to pull the front cover off it.it has 140000 on the truck and has not had the kdp fixed yet.
