Question 4K gov spring help!

Hey Gang ,
hope someone can help me out ,I was told i had a 4K governor spring kit installed in my pump around a year ago when i was not as brave to do these mods myself. Now ive been learning ALOT as i go and have noticed the Plug or governor spring cover nut was NEVER removed. is there a way to install these springs without taking this plug or the back half of the pump off? and is there a way i can tell if the springs are ORIGINAL and NOT replaced as i was told? Ive been in the plate hole under the AFC housing alot recently fixing many lies and have noticed the governor spring adjust nut looks like it was possibly tightened down more than original but those springs dont look like they were replaced or would come out thru the top, and the plug/nut untouched, still has the tamper wire as originally installed. I am now realizing alot more that i am the only one so far i can trust in NJ to work on My 12v! I paid ALOT of money to a well known shop here to (RIP ME OFF) if any one can help me out here i would really appreciate it. thanks a bunch!
