3k gov springs

I see by reading through the forum that many of the TDR members have replaced their governor springs with 3K Piers springs.

What performance boost does this give? My truck is real strong 1500-2000 rpm but seems to lose steam about 2200-2300. Off idle resonse is a little sluggish too.......would the addition of these springs help this???
