warped hub and rotor

I just had my brake's done and the mechanic showed me that my front hub wobbles without the rotor attached. he installed the rotor 3 different rotation's and each time the rotor wobbled in the same place each time, so he turned the new rotor to take the wobble out ... do i need a new hub or can it be machined straight?
