engine knock

at about 1800 to 2300 rpm I get a knocking noise from the engine. I have had this noise for about 30000 miles but it seems to be getting louder. It doesn't sound like lower end. I performed a valve adjustment. It sounds like a single cylinder. I am thinking it could be a fuel knock. It seems worse the harder I accelerate. I have 126,000 miles on the truck. I bought a chassis ear and can't pinpoint the noise. I also replaced the overflow valve. I use mopar filters only and delo 400 motor oil. I am thinking of have an oil analysis done , to see if there is anything mechanically wrong.
