quad headlights

I recently finished installing quad headlamps in our 97 and 98 trucks and the results were excellent. Finally I can see at night, it's like having European-spec lights again.
That's 110W total on high beam, well focused unlike the stock ones.
Why didn't DC do this on all trucks for safety?
