More in the crankcase than oil
This is my first post on TDR but I've been a loyal reader for afew months. All I can say is ,"a bunch of cummins fanatics , I'm in the right place!" Although my current ride is not my first diesel, it is the first one I've had problems with. At this time it is currently in a local DC shop with water/antifreeze in the oil,the dealer said they think its a cracked head but also feel a short block is in order. What I want to know is has anyone else had or heard of anything like this, the truck only has 40,000mi.on it and has had a easy life , am I the only one with this problem? Any info would be appriciated
