KDP ... Almost Got me!!!!!!
Had my KDP fixed last Thursday at Blue Chip Diesel. Did the drill and screw method, but when drilling, the drill bit hit the dowle pin!! I had come out more than half way!
Tim at BCD had to remove the cover and pound it back in then completed the screw method. He said that the pin was just about ready to go!
Man am I lucky ... any of you folks with one of the 12 valvers, you may want to get this done ASAP. Just a warning.
Now I figured that I was all set, had the #11 plate put in the truck after the KDP was fixed, took it out for a test drive and blew the clutch (134,000+ miles) Now I will just have to get Blue Chips 1,000+lb. clutch, throwout bearing and pilot bushing
sooner than I had hoped (that what I told the wife).
Next is 370's and the 16cm housing.
