Abs Lights

The ABS light are still on . I am trying to not go to the dealer for a fix. I would like to get a sensor and install it in the rear end,but my speedometer is working great, and I need to know, if the sensor is bad will the speedometer act up. I know I have posted similar post but have never been answered on this question. I hooked into a trailer with faulty wiring. Thanks RJ
