Help! Where did my horsepower go?

Need some ideas!
After installing my HX-40 it would really take off around 1700 RPM and the boost would shoot up to around 40psi quick. this was around 2 months ago. Took a trip early June pulling the camp trailer and everything worked great, lots of kick. After a week or so it seemed like the boost wouldn't kick in until around 2200 rpm. Now I can't get more then 20 psi even @ 2800 rpm & my HP is in the toilet. Oh sure, I can get it up to 90 mph, but it takes awhile. Seems like I have fairly good power taking off but the boost never really kicks in, even with propane.
I've changed the fuel filter but no help.
What else do I need to do?
