Angry Time to do the Vac. pump seal

I've had this annoying oil leak ever since I got the truck last Oct. and it appears to be the infamous vacuum pump seal. I can get the Federal-Mogul 28x38x7 seal from the local Motion Industries distributer ($2.22) and they have O-rings also.

I'm thinking that as long as I'm taking the pumps out this would be a good time to replace the power steering fluid with Valvoline Synpower (eliminate the PS pump squeal when the temp drops below 0*).

All the posts I've read seem to indicate that it's a pretty easy job but I'm just wondering if there's any gotchas I should be aware of, and if anyone wants to post or PM me the R&R procedure from the Service Manual that would be great.
