#8 Plate bought on e-bay (i hope)
I bought what is supposed to be a #8 torque plate on e-bay. When it came, the top was screwed on with long machine screws rather than rivets like the factory one. While surfing today, I looked at pics of other plates and they seem to be welded togther or maybe all one piece? There were no screws or rivets in the pics I looked at.
I had my stock plate slid so it is hard to tell a performance difference other that seemingly lower egt's.
Did I take a screwin? Hope not. I was hoping this is just an older plate and they have been changed along the way. Its cut totally different than the stock one. Guess thats what I get for bein cheap and not buying new, but hey, $200 saved is $200
Well I'm off to kill my dowel pin Wish me luck.
Chris
